364 days later.......

Last year this time I could tell you exactly what I was doing. I was in a apartment in Elkhorn Wisconsin making beats on the worst computer I’ve ever encountered. In the kitchen… transferring files from my phone to my computer because I was stealing someone’s wifi. The computer I had didn’t have a working Ethernet port so I had to do everything thru USB. I was also in a unhappy relationship. I knew it was a unhappy one and so did she. I think it was one of those “using each other” type deal. Feelings were real but I wasn’t the one for her and she clearly wasn’t the one for me. I do miss her kids and I know they will turn out good. I heard she’s engaged these days. I’m happy that she found someone that could handle her ways and make her happy.

The breakup was crazy but it was a blessing. I left in April and returned to Chicago. Mainly because I missed home and my family and because of Tara. I made a promise to her that if she moved to Chicago, I would do my best to make sure she got to where she needed to be. Since then we’ve become more than “Producer/Artist”….. we became family. So thank you Tara.

I returned and started doing more music work. I was becoming myself again. It’s funny I said years ago I needed a change of scenery….which is why I moved to Wisconsin. Here I was years later saying the same thing….but returning to Chicago. Sometimes I miss Wisconsin because I have so many people there I consider family. I make time tho….always have…..always will.

After doing all this music stuff…..I had to make time for myself. During that time, I found the love of my life. The story on how we met is a weird one so I’ll save that for another time. She is the first one I’ve been completely honest with. I was a savage before……I can admit that. Probably because I wasn’t getting back what I thought I deserved. With her…..she gives me that plus more so being honest is nothing because she deserves it. My family is her family and vice versa. It’s been awhile since I’ve been all about someone…..like 3 years. It feels good……..good as hell.

While finding love…..I finished the Tokyo Ave album along side Conrad. I thought the album was dope……so um….buy it. It’s on iTunes. I put alot of hard work into that album. It was the first time people on twitter was able to hear something from me besides production.

Now it’s December 31st and I can say I had a good ass year. I did alot of stuff I wouldn’t have been able to do if I was still in Wisconsin. Met the person that I’ll eventually be with for a long time and made some cold ass music. Can’t wait to improve everything in 2013. Just watch…………..
